AI Use & Responsible AI Statement

Last updated 2026. Our approach to accuracy, security, fairness, and human oversight in AI-enabled products and services.

5.1 Our Approach

TECHNOCRACY develops and delivers AI-enabled products and services to support productivity, decision-making, automation, knowledge access and service delivery. We recognize that responsible AI requires attention to accuracy, security, privacy, transparency and human oversight.

5.2 Human Oversight

AI outputs are intended to support people, not automatically replace appropriate human judgment in high-impact or sensitive decisions. Customers should define suitable review and approval controls.

5.3 Accuracy and Validation

AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, biased or outdated outputs. Users should validate material outputs and establish appropriate testing, monitoring and escalation procedures.

5.4 Privacy and Data Protection

AI solutions should be configured to handle personal and confidential information in accordance with applicable law, contractual requirements and agreed security controls.

5.5 Security

We seek to apply appropriate security controls across AI applications, integrations, infrastructure, access management and data handling. Specific controls depend on solution architecture and contractual scope.

5.6 Fairness and Bias

AI models and datasets can contain or amplify bias. Where appropriate, solutions should be evaluated and monitored to reduce unacceptable bias and support fair outcomes.

5.7 Transparency

Where appropriate, we aim to provide customers with information about the role of AI in our solutions, relevant limitations and the need for human review.

5.8 Responsible Automation

Automated actions should have controls proportionate to their potential impact. Sensitive workflows should include authorization, monitoring, audit trails and human intervention where appropriate.

5.9 Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for determining whether an AI use case is appropriate for their organization, industry and regulatory environment and for establishing required governance processes.

5.10 Continuous Improvement

AI technologies and associated risks evolve. We may periodically review our AI practices, security measures, governance controls and product capabilities.

5.11 No Absolute Guarantee

Responsible AI practices reduce risk but cannot guarantee that an AI system will always be accurate, unbiased, secure or suitable for every purpose. Specific commitments should be documented in the relevant agreement.
